Classically trained and playing professionally since age 12, Doug's been performing at Northern California events & clubs for more than 30 years, delivering mainly rock/pop/blues adaptations and innovative originals, as well as some jazz, world-beat & bluegrass.  Tenures with East Bay groups like 'Cottonmouth' in the 70's, 'Doug & Dave' and 'The Heaters' in the 80's, plus his own band and solo work up to today have made him a skilled, seasoned performer. In addition to guitar and vocal work, Doug is proficient on Bass & Drums, and lists Music Theory and Vocal & Horn arrangements among his specialties.
